Fiber artist Lenore Tawney, born in Lorain, Ohio, became an influential figure in the development of woven sculpture as an art medium. The exhibition represents the most comprehensive presentation of her work since 1990. At once retrospective and forward-looking, Mirror of the Universe and the accompanying publication of the same name shed light on the enduring and multifaceted impact that Lenore Tawney had on contemporary art.
